Personalized Jewish Trip Planning in Barcelona and Catalonia

As a Jewish tour guide living in Barcelona for 15 years, I created this itinerary planning service to help you arrive prepared, relaxed, and confident. I help travelers experience Barcelona in a way that is culturally rich, logistically smooth, and aligned with their religious and personal values.

Barcelona is a city of deep Jewish legacy that many visitors don’t fully discover on their own. With the right planning, your visit can be smooth, meaningful, and unforgettable. My goal is simple: to help you experience Barcelona in a way that feels meaningful and thoughtfully planned, so that once you arrive, you can simply enjoy.

This service is designed for couples, families, solo travelers, and small groups who want expert guidance before they arrive, so they can make the most of every moment in Barcelona, Girona, or other parts of Catalonia.

Whether you’re coming for a short city break, a layover on the way to Israel, a bat/bar mitzvah, a family vacation, or a Jewish heritage tour of Barcelona, I will create a custom itinerary tailored to your needs, pace, interests, and level of observance.

What the Service Includes

1. Up to 45-Minute Personal Consultation Call

This call ensures your itinerary reflects you, not a generic travel template. It allows me to design an itinerary that is in line with your requirements. We begin with a one-on-one call, where I get to understand you and your trip (if you won’t have time for a call, I can send you a questionnaire you can fill in when you have time):

  • Your travel dates and length of stay

  • Who is traveling (adults, children, seniors)

  • Your level of observance

  • Shabbat and kashrut needs, and synagogue access

  • Interest in Jewish history and heritage

  • Cultural highlights (culinary, Gaudí and modernist architecture, neighborhoods, museums)

  • Day trips outside Barcelona (Girona, Montserrat, Costa Brava, medieval villages, etc.)

  • Preferred pace: full and active, or relaxed.

2Custom-Created PDF Itinerary

Within up to 2 days of our call, you will receive an organized PDF itinerary that includes:

  • A detailed day-by-day plan

  • Recommendations for Jewish heritage sites, including the historic Jewish Quarter (El Call)

  • Recommendations for synagogues and Jewish community resources

  • Kosher food options and grocery guidance

  • Shabbat planning suggestions

  • Cultural highlights, such as Gaudí’s masterpieces, local markets, Flamenco shows, etc.

  • Practical advice for getting around the city

  • Recommendations on restaurants, neighborhoods, and experiences tailored to your interests

  • Optional day trips from Barcelona

The PDF format makes it easy to print or access on your phone while traveling.

3. One Round of Revisions Included

After reviewing your itinerary, you are welcome to request one round of adjustments, so I can fine-tune it. Whether you want to slow the pace, add something, or refine the itinerary, I can get it done.
